Learn Violin or Viola in a Supportive, Inspiring Environment
Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the very first time or looking to refine your skills, I’d be delighted to help you on your musical journey. I welcome students of all ages and levels—children, teens, and adults alike.
My teaching is shaped by the ideas of great violin and viola pedagogues such as Suzuki, Paul Rolland, Mimi Zweig, and Galamian. I like to blend and adapt these approaches to suit each student’s unique personality, learning style, and goals.
Making music together is one of the best parts of learning an instrument. Alongside private lessons, I offer group classes and string ensemble opportunities, plus two student recitals each year where everyone can share their progress and celebrate achievements. I also run two beginner/intermediate adult groups, which are a fun and encouraging way to learn in community.
I hold a Master’s degree in Classical String Performance from the Irish World Academy of Music and have been teaching for over 20 years.
